Computer Aided Engineering Laboratory

Computer Aided Engineering Laboratory was established in the 1995 with an investment of 2 crores for concept design and product realization. This Lab is funded by AICTE under MODROBS scheme for Rs.13, 60,000 during the year 2011-2012.This lab primarily facilitates students to conceptualize design and convert it into a complete product. The lab includes computers (i3-i5 processor, 2-4 GB Ram, 1GB Graphics Card, 300-500GB Hard Disk) with CAD/CAM/CAE software packages, as well as a rapid prototyping equipment. The process of design, simulation and prototyping takes place in a digitally integrated environment. The facility has been designed and structured to take care of professional certification programs for students, consultancy for industries and to also carry out globally outstanding research. The Computer Aided Engineering Laboratory contains advanced software versions of CAE:

  • Autodesk Inverter 14(50 Users)
  • CREO 1.0(50 Users)
  • Solidworks (60 Users)
  • CADEM (10 Seats)
  • Mastercam X7(15 Seats)
  • ANSYS 15(50Users)
  • Hyperworks 11.0(125 users)
  • Rapidprototype Machine
