Automobile Theft Deterrent System

The Automobile Theft Deterrent System is a device used to arrest the movement of the gear-shift rod when the ignition is switched off and the key is removed from key slot. When the key is removed the 5/2 DCV is opened which is allows the compressed air to reach the DAC. The piston in the DAC is moved forward which blocks the movement of the gear-shift rod, rendering it immovable. When the original key is inserted, the reverse action takes place. Now the gear-shift rod can be slotted into any desired gear and the vehicle can be moved. This can be installed in the vehicle having either manual transmission or automatic transmission.
